Let’s make something wonderful

Activities are invitations, not tests. Choose a small starting point, prepare safe materials, and let children change the plan. A cardboard box can become a theatre, a shop, a rocket, or a habitat depending on the questions a child brings to it.
Choose by energy
For a quiet afternoon, try drawing, reading, sorting, or a simple observation game. For active energy, take a walk, create a movement story, or build an indoor obstacle course with clear safety rules.
Choose by time
Five-minute activities can be meaningful. Keep a small basket of paper, pencils, reusable containers, and books ready so an idea can begin without a long preparation period.
Choose by connection
The best activity is often the one that gives people something to talk about. Ask children to teach you a rule, explain a drawing, invent a question, or decide what the family should investigate next.
